Once again I had just a few short moments to make an image and needed to be prepared. I saw this coyote standing on the bank of the river and there was only a small opening in the trees that would give me a clean photograph. I drifted by the coyote taking about 8 frames before I was out of range and the coyote left the scene. Fortunately my camera was all set using my C1 settings (for more on my camera settings see the blog entry “Just a Glimpse” Mach 28, 2018).
The lighting on the coyote was nice but not ideal, so I needed to make some adjustments to the image in post processing. Watch the video tutorial to see how I took the image on the left and crafted it to the image on the right.
