I was viewing my images from morning at Wakodahatchee Wetands in Delray Beach, Florida using Lightroom. I was in the grid mode, allowing me to look at groups of images, to see if there were any particular images that stood out and would warrant further consideration. I happen to notice two images I took of the boardwalk and reflections, one going at about a 45 degree angle going from left to right and next image at the same angle going from right to left. The two images met at a peak in the middle and I decided to put them together to create strong graphical image.
The two images shown in red
I opened the first image in Photoshop (CMD/CNTRL + E) and then expanded the canvas size, keeping the image anchored to the left.
Expanding the canvas size
Here is the result of expanding the canvas.
Next I opened the second image, copied it, and then pasted it into the expanded canvas and positioned it to line up.
