Spring is officially here!

I know for some of you the fact that spring is officially here comes with dreams of warmer weather and no more snow! Here in California we have been experiencing too much warm spring weather and sure wish we had had some winter rains.
But spring is in the air along the American River, where I have been kayaking and photographing for the past 18 months. The birds are starting to nest and I really hope there are some otter and beaver babies on the way!
I have seen and experienced so much on the river lately. Here are a few recent images.

If you are in the greater Sacramento area I am giving a live presentation of my river experience “My Stretch of the River: A Photographer’s Journal” at Cosumnes River College at the Recital Hall, on April 24th at 6 pm. I would love it if you could come.
If you are in the Palm Beach region of Florida, I am giving the same presentation on April 15th at 7:30 at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre – in the Studio on 415 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
If you can’t attend the presentations then the program is available as a rental ($5.95) or a digital download ($19.95) available by clicking here.
And last if you want a Blu-ray disc to play on your TV or computer (if you have a Blu-ray drive) use this coupon code (MSOTR5) to get an introductory price. The disc is regularly $24.95 but for a limited time (until April 15th) you can get it for $19.95. Click here to order.
And speaking of Florida there is still time to sign up for my rescheduled classes:
I hope spring brings you many great photo opportunities!
Take care,
